A quiet room

Erik was finally moved out of ICU and into a regular old quiet private room.  He was ready and approved for a move on Thursday and it took until Friday night for them to have an available room for him.  Have you seen the Cleveland Clinic?  Not one room was available?  I was pretty sure that the nice nurse was going to shove him into an open broom closet if his steroided up self wasn't off her floor before her shift ended.

He was actually much better last night.  I got used to looking at him "sick" for so long that I forgot what his normal skin tone was.  It's amazing how quickly you can visibly see improvement.  He was told he would get pot roast for lunch.  Then told that no, in fact he wouldn't.  Another lie to add to his list of lying violations that he has going.  I'm hoping they stop the steroids soon.

John is supposed to get out today or tomorrow.  This sparked quite the dilemma….Laura and I have to go to a little football game tonight with all of the kids :)  It's not little, it's a huge game for Hudson.  #Rollhud!  Don't judge us, we are way to exhausted to be judged right now.  Basically they need to let him out early today or keep him until tomorrow.  Life goes on around us people, and we have priorities.  If he can stay until tomorrow we think that Erik can hang out in his room and they can watch the game together.  As such I am organizing a camera crew to video tape the drug encouraged steroid infused conversations that may take place.  Usually Laura and I have the bizarre conversations and the boys just stare at us with shock and awe.  This is a rare opportunity for us that shouldn't be missed.
