Still Waiting

We are still waiting to confirm a transplant date.

Once both surgeons were able to compare all of the dates we gave them it turned out that they didn't have one not one that worked for both of them.

We are now hoping for the first two weeks of November or early December.

I'm sure it will take the schedulers a few days to look at the calendars.  That are no doubt online and visible to all.  Then a few more days to talk to each other to coordinate a date.  I think they work about 5 feet away from each other.

I'm about 3.7 seconds away from restructuring their entire system and setting up some reasonable timeline goals and expectations.  With a list of consequences for deviation.  Take a little bit of annoyance, a lot of PMS and throw in an overabundance of sleep deprivation and I actually feel a little bit sorry for whomever greets me when I arrive to fix them.

I have a party to plan and I can't be bothered with dealing with this scheduling nonsense any longer.  Plus I need like really need to check "transplant date confirmed" off of my color coded, labeled, filtered and sorted to do list.  I hate blank fields that are not intended to be blank.

Speaking of party planning.  I told Jack that Laura and I have a committee meeting tomorrow.  It makes the party planning aka sitting around downtown sound important and official and explains why mommy is going out and everyone else is fending for themselves.  He said "you mean your private committee that only you and Mrs. Wieland are invited to attend."  Why yes, that one.

So Erik told his dialysis nurses about our harvest party.  They asked him to bring in an invitation so they can "see" it.  Uhhh, yeh, no, we aren't leaving a paper trail for any potential future commitment hearings.  I told him he could show them a picture.
