Somewhere along the way summer vacation stopped meaning vacations, reading books at the beach or simply sitting at the pool doing absolutely nothing all day. Now it means there is just more time to play baseball. We have some type of baseball event going on every. single. day. Weekends are taken up by tournaments that keep us out of the house from 8 a.m. to, oh I don't know, the freaking sun is set. We are leaving in about 10 minutes for day 2 of a tournament. Depending on how they do today we could have anywhere from 1 to 3 games. 6 hours of playing. They are 11. Needless to say by game 3 it could get pretty scary.
