progress and now lack thereof

So here is where we sit with the deck. And it will sit. While we deal with the flooding issue in the basement. I don't mean a little. It's a big bad lake of a mess. Erik ran downstairs to get more boxes for Steph right as we were leaving to go visit her. And came across a lake. Something about a sump pump breaking during our last torrential hurricane. And yeh, it's possible no one has been in the basement for a few days, possibly all week. I'm pretty much thinking we can't salvage the wood floor. Not a happy day.  We did get to go to home depot to buy a new sump pump so that was fun.  I very sneakily tried to check out the patio accessories without being too obvious.  I very smartly opted to only make a mental note of things I wanted versus saying it to Erik out loud.  Including new wood flooring.
